Plaça d’Espanya

This congested square - for being one of the accesses of the city and being next to one of the enclosures of the Fira de Barcelona - is dominated by a classic court monumental fountain in which are represented the three seas of the Iberian peninsula and its main rivers. It was installed on the occasion of the International Exhibition in 1929, which took place at Maria Cristina avenue.
