Recinte Modernista de l’Hospital de Sant Pau

Built between 1905 and 1930, it was conceived by Lluís Domènech i Montaner as a garden-city for the sick people of the small and obsolete Hospital de Santa Creu (C. Hospital, 56). After a century as a public hospital and after an important restoration, this great modernist group houses today several organisms and it’s possible to visit –if you want it, with an audio guide– its gardens and pavilions, linked by underground corridors and richly decorated.
