This hill is a unique place from which to see the sun rise but it has played a key role in the history of Barcelona: the Iberians settled there 4,000 years ago, antiaircraft batteries were installed during the Civil War for its 360° vision, and on them a neighbourhood of shacks (the tiles can still be seen on the floor).
